The CV-22 Osprey, equipped with an advanced terrain following/terrain avoidance radar and utilizing the increased speed of a fixed-wing aircraft combined with the ability to hover and land vertically as a helicopter provides AFSOC with the capability to execute long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions into hostile and politically sensitive areas, in virtually any weather and during periods of darkness.
Only the best trained team in the world can fly and maintain a complex, state-of-the-art aircraft like the CV-22 Osprey and only the best team in the world can develop that training. LSI, teamed with its strategic partner D.P. Associates, is the team meeting that challenge. LSI is developing and delivering self-paced interactive, computer-assisted courseware for AFSOC and Air Education and Training Command (AETC). Our courseware assures CV-22 aircrew and maintenance teams will have the training they need to safely complete their dangerous missions. This web-based Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) courseware is an efficient and instructionally effective means to transform students of all educational backgrounds and military experience into the best trained aircrews in the world.
Our Shareable Courseware Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant approach to instructional design enables a single development/multiple-use approach to courseware development and instruction. The flexibility provided by this methodology allows the training to adapt and grow with the experience of the team and mission of the aircraft.
