Army Aviation Programs

Since 1995, LSI has become increasingly involved in the development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) products for all Army helicopter programs.

LSI’s products currently include blended training systems for the AH-64D Apache Longbow and CH-47D and F Model Chinook. LSI has developed the Aviator Qualification Course, Maintenance Test Pilot Courses and Instructor Pilot Courses for the Apache, Blackhawk, and Chinook helicopters currently taught at Fort Rucker Alabama. LSI also developed all of the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 15U, 15R, 15N, 15F, and 15Y Maintenance Training for United States Army Aviation Logistics School (USAALS) at Fort Eustis, and self-paced IMI for use in the field as just-in-time training for the Helicopter Maintainers.

Our quality training products allow U.S. Army aviation mechanics to quickly access training areas describing the location, function, theory of operation, and fault isolation procedures of weapons systems installed on the Army helicopters. Our initial performance in the development of IMI products for the AH-64A Apache helicopter has led to LSI’s selection as the IMI developer for all of the Apache Longbow configured aircraft.

LSI is also developing IMI training products and providing Instructors for the New Equipment Training Team for the CH-47F Cargo Helicopter transition training for U.S. Army pilots and maintenance personnel. In addition to the CH-47F model, LSI is currently providing updated IMI for the CH-47D model Maintenance Courses.

LSI has also developed training system products for the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter including Instructor-led Training Support Packages and IMI for pilot and maintenance training.
