LSI initially operated in the San Diego area in support of the F-14D Fleet Replacement Squadron training program and later in support of the CH-46 and SH-2G training programs at Naval Air Station North Island. Our LSI San Diego group currently supports several training programs in conjunction with the home office in Jacksonville including Navy and Marine Corps aviation programs.
