LSI Wins DDG 1000 Contract

LSI has received notification of award of a new Task Order from our long time surface warfare client, Bath Iron Works. The task order encompasses building courseware for the U.S. Navy’s newest class guided missile destroyer, DDG 1000. Specifically, LSI will build courseware to support the new electric drive propulsion plant and its auxiliaries. This project positions LSI to lead the field in this new technology for the foreseeable future. The surface engineers are standing by to answer all bells with respect to this new technological challenge and the continued opportunities with BIW.
