LSI’s commercial aviation courseware development group was
established to meet the worldwide training requirements of the
industry’s premier trainers and Original
 Equipment
Manufacturers. Drawing on years of experience creating and
delivering Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) products for our
DoD customers, our commercial aviation courseware is web based,
SCORM, and AICC compliant. Because of our web based ADL design,
the courseware products are accessible through our customer’s
Learning Management Systems via the Internet 24 hours a day from
anywhere in the world. For
schoolhouse use, the same courseware can be distributed to
students through an intranet. Where Internet and intranet
connectivity are unavailable, students can be handed a CD-ROM
containing the courseware for use at the office or at home.
These same ADL characteristics ensure that the courseware can
be easily maintained and modified over their life-cycle. The
database-centric design simplifies updates and permits maximum
economical reuse and repurposing of individual Sharable Content
Objects (SCOs) in future courseware products.
Current commercial aerospace customers include FlightSafety
International and Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
