H-60 AMTCS Maintenance Training
The SH-60B/F/H Computer Based Training (CBT) is a combination of systems based Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) and task based Interactive Courseware (ICW). It was developed in support of the U.S. Navy’s Aviation Maintenance Training Continuum System (AMTCS) which teaches aviation mechanics and technicians the Organizational Level Maintenance repair procedures for this Helicopter. This training also includes twelve Intelligent Tutors (ITs), a cognitive training tool, which are designed to teach maintenance specialists how to develop their own mental models for effectively troubleshooting the SH-60’s more complex systems.
