Training Devices

LSI develops training devices and subsystem simulations for several military aviation platforms.

LSI develops cockpit and subsystem simulations for several Army aviation platforms. LSI uses the most efficient and cost effective combination of self-paced courseware augmented with appropriate segments of task simulations to meet specific customer-blended training requirements. LSI is currently supporting the Army Aviation Program Executive Office providing non-recurring engineering and administrative tasks to develop training aids and devices in the form of desktop trainers, hardware trainers, and portable crew station procedural training aids. LSI’s successful accomplishments include desktop trainers used as crew station procedural trainers for the Apache, Chinook, and ARH helicopter and various intricate communication systems like the AN/ARC-231 multiband radio, portable part task remove and replace trainers, and a complete CH-47 Series Hardware Maintenance Training device delivered to USAALS for MOS 15U training. LSI develops software to upgrade existing devices or develops new software to emulate new build helicopters and upgraded aircraft operational software to reflect new configurations for numerous Army helicopters.
