The Chinook Desktop Trainer (CDT) emulates the Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) of the CH-47F helicopter. LSI developed the CDT for PM Cargo Helicopters for use in their electronic classrooms to train CH-47F pilots in engine startup and shutdown procedures, aircraft controls and displays, mission planning, and in-flight tasks, to include instrument flight procedures and selectable emergency procedures.
