The Flight Control Part Task Trainer (FCPTT) is an operational device that simulates Longbow production aircraft operational systems. The FCPTT is used to train system familiarization, Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs), and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs). The FCPTT is a hybrid design which incorporates a hardware-training device (HTD) consisting of a tandem cockpit (Pilot and Copilot/Gunner Longbow stations), Interface Panel (IP), Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and the Longbow Procedural Trainer (LPT). The trainer provides maintenance training under the following AH-64D tasks categories:
- Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) procedures: 3
- Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP): 26
- Switchology, Systems, Component Familiarization, and Rigging
LSI developed a FCPTT for Taiwan Army and updated seven (7) USG legacy FCPTT’s with the hybrid solution used by the Taiwan Army FCPTT.
