The LCDSTT is a maintenance device used to train system familiarization and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs) in support of U.S. Army Longbow AH-64E AVIM/AVUM (Aviation Intermediate and Unit Level Maintenance). The LCDSTT design incorporates a hardware-training device consisting of a tandem cockpit (Pilot and Copilot/Gunner Longbow stations), (HTD) and Instructor Operator Station, (IOS). The LCDSTT provides maintenance training under the following AH-64E tasks categories:
- Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) procedures
- Fault Isolation Procedures
- Switchology and Systems Knowledge
