ROTC Air Force students from Sandalwood High tour LSI

ROTC Air Force students from Sandalwood High through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program toured our manufacturing and production facilities and got some hands-on experience with the latest training technologies including the AH-64E Apache Longbow Controls and Displays Selected Task Trainer (LCDSTT), Virtual Interactive Environment (VIE), and Modernized Target Acquisition Designator Sight and Selected Task Trainer (M-TSTT).  LSI began the Big Brothers Big Sisters Beyond School Walls Program in 2013.  LSI employee-owners serve as Big Brothers or Big Sisters to the students giving them a mentor in high school.  Thanks to the Florida Times Union for the great article on the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and the tour LSI provided for our “littles”.  Link to the article.
